Find an Industrial Court location or JPPM office
Find the Industrial Court locations and JPPM offices, and see that JPPM confirms which branch hears your claim.
A worker who has just been dismissed often does not know which office receives the paperwork or which court branch will later hear a referred case. This directory answers both questions.
The Industrial Court sits at its Kuala Lumpur headquarters. It also has branches in Penang, Ipoh, Johor Bahru, Kota Kinabalu and Kuching.1
How the directory is built
Each entry comes from official government listings, not guesswork. We show the source and the date we checked it next to every entry.
When a listing changes, such as an office moving or a new branch opening, we update the entry and record the new date.
How to use it
Start from your state or the city where you worked. Find the JPPM office (Jabatan Perhubungan Perusahaan Malaysia, the Department of Industrial Relations) that receives your written claim.
Then ask JPPM which Industrial Court branch will hear a referred case.
After your claim is lodged, JPPM arranges conciliation, a meeting run by an officer to help both sides settle. Solicitors are not permitted to represent either side at that stage.2
You may attend that first meeting yourself, so knowing which office you are dealing with helps you prepare. Our explainer on JPPM conciliation shows what happens there.
If your case does not settle, it moves toward the Industrial Court. JPPM confirms which branch hears it.

Your next step
This directory is a reference, not a filing service. It does not replace confirming your case details with a lawyer.
If you want a lawyer to confirm the office and act on your claim, send your dates and what happened. An independent lawyer may review the facts and replies about whether and how they can act.
If you are preparing a claim and want a lawyer to file it, an independent employment lawyer can confirm the right branch. They can lodge your representation if it is a case they can take on.

First contact: general facts only, such as date, location, employment status and a short summary. Keep documents private until an identified independent lawyer contacts you and specifically requests them.
Common questions
Do I choose which Industrial Court branch hears my case?
No. JPPM confirms which branch hears your case after the settlement meeting. You do not pick the branch.
Is this directory the same as legal advice on where to file?
No. It only maps offices and branches from public sources so you know who receives your paperwork. An independent employment lawyer can confirm the correct office for your specific case before you submit anything.
What is JPPM?
JPPM is the Jabatan Perhubungan Perusahaan Malaysia, the Department of Industrial Relations. It is the office that first receives your written claim and arranges the settlement meeting before any referral to court.
